Chart-topping songstress Louise Carver is heading to Cape Town in October. The multi-nominated Carver has featured at the top of musical charts across the world, including the United Kingdom, Europe, Russia, South Africa and even twice on the US Billboard charts.
Louise Carver signed her first record deal at the age of fifteen and released her debut single two years later. Her fascination with dance music and club life brought her to the attention of legendary producer Kenny Hawkes in London, which resulted in the track ‘Play the Game,’ which topped the charts in Europe. For her subsequent albums, she collaborated with top local and international producers, which saw her hit the number one spot on global billboard charts and receive several nominations for the South African music awards.
With six studio albums under the belt and after travelling and performing extensively overseas, South African fans can look forward to seeing her on stage during The Remedy Tour. Named after the fourth single off her latest album ‘Hanging in the void’, The Remedy tour will start in Mozambique and includes stops in White River, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria. She will be performing three shows in Cape Town as part of the tour, which is billed as a celebration of life, beautiful venues and the pure joy of connecting with her followers.
Fans can expect the inimitable voice of this sultry singer, voted as the most glamorous performer in South Africa by Glamour magazine, performing a line-up of all her most popular hits as well as some new songs and a few classic covers done in the unique Carver way. She will be accompanied by the talented duo of guitarist David Klassen and percussionist Gideon Botes.
